How to Generate a Passcode for Guests Using Keybad Locks.
If you’re a property manager and need to generate passcodes for guests, simply follow these step-by-step instructions to ensure seamless access during their stay.
• Log in to the Property Manager Portal with your credentials. Once logged in, you’ll be directed to the homepage, where you will see a side menu.
• In the side menu, click on ‘Users’; when prompted with additional options, click on ‘Guest’ to proceed with guest-specific settings.
• On the left side of the homepage, you’ll see the ‘+ Add Guest’ button. Click on this to be redirected to the page where you can add new guest details.
• Enter Guest Information:
• Search for the Guest’s Email: Input the guest’s email address to associate them with their account.
• Assign a Lock: Select the appropriate lock for the guest by choosing the lock name from the available options.
• Set the guest’s Routine to ‘Default’, then specify the start date, start time, end date, and end time to define the guest’s stay period.
• To generate a passcode, select ‘Yes’ if you wish to provide the guest with a passcode for access.
• Click on ‘Add Guest’ to complete the process
Once the guest accepts the invitation and downloads the Keyless application, the system will automatically generate and assign the passcode to the guest. The guest can then use this passcode to access the property for the duration of their stay.
Note on Revoking or Editing Guest Access
To revoke or edit the access for a guest with a generated passcode, the Property Manager must be near the lock. This action can only be performed through the mobile application.
