In the event that the Holiday Home Company decides not to renew the contract with the unit owner and the owner desires to retain the lock, the ‘Property Manager’ can facilitate the transfer of the lock by following the outlined steps below
1- Generate the QR code :
The Property Manager is required to generate the “QR Code” and hand it over to the Unit Owner.
• Once you log in to the property manager portal, you shall Click on the ‘Locks’, on the left side of the homepage
• Click on the three dots next to the lock for which you wish to generate the QR.
• Once the options are prompted, click on ‘Generate QR code’ for the lock being transferred to the unit owner.
• Once you click on ‘Generate QR code’, A file will be downloaded (image of QR code).
• Open the file to view it.
After the QR code is generated the property manager can proceed to delete the lock from the portal by following the below steps:
• Once you log in to the property manager portal, you shall Click on the ‘Locks’, on the side menu of the homepage.
• Click on the three dots next to the locks you wish to delete.
• Once the options are prompted, click on ‘Delete Lock’.
•Upon the action, a pop-up question will prompt you to respond affirmatively or negatively for OTP generation.
• Click ‘Yes’ to complete the process, and OTP will be sent to the mobile number
• Enter the OTP and Verify to complete the process.
The property manager will provide the generated QR code to the owner and advise the unit owner to create an account with Keyless on the Home plan ( Free plan ).
After removing the lock from your portal, you will have an additional license available. To downgrade the number of licenses, please refer to this hyperlink: Plans and Transactions
If you choose to retain the license for future use, charges for the additional license will still be applicable.
